Great Washington D.C. Chapter - Monthly Bike Ride

Start at Prince William Forest Park - 5475 Turkey Run Rd. Triangle, VA 22172 (in Prince William Forest Park)
This will be a group ride to get us together and outside. We will vary the location to maximize exposure to area resources and get members of the GWC together. Ride #2 will be in Prince William Forest Park. We can ride either Road or Mountain ... or, Both!
** There is a fee to enter the park **
$20 per vehicle, $15 if you ride in, good for 7 days. OR, $35 annual pass.
OR, use your National Park Service Annual or Lifetime Pass.
Taking COVID into consideration, in future rides, we will look for ways to engage with Midshipmen to ride in Annapolis and throughout the region.

There are restrooms and parking here. We will meet at 0900 with intent to roll out at 0915.
Travel plan is :
Road bike- multiple loops of the 7.3 mi smoothly paved and safe loop.
Mountain bike- depart parking lot on Old Blacktop Trail, turn right (north) on Taylor Farm Road, cross scenic drive onto Burma Road, and turn back the same way.
We will group by bike type and estimated skill/speed.
