Networking - Some dread it, many are confused by it, few understand how to do it well.
In this session we will share strategy and tactics of effective networking for the purpose of uncovering employment and business opportunities.
Networking is a key skill that can be not only developed but also honed. It is an accepted belief that companies publish job announcements only after they have gone through the connections of their employees. Business goes to those with the relationships.
Make the necessary connections and build relationships to achieve your professional and personal goals.
Join us and our guest Erika Schreiner for what will be a very informative session. Erika is a director with Fedsoft and has placed several of our graduates in exciting positions throughout the DMV. She has extensive experience building relationships, growing a network, and understands the unique backgrounds of our alumni.
For those who would like to prepare for this session. We recommend reading the Little Black Book of Connections by Jeffrey Gitomer. The book is not required reading, however. Those who have not read the book will still gain valuable insight and actionable steps to build a strong network.
